Two contests and three programs to be announced this year. According to GFM Studio's C.E.O. Giorgi Kharebava, the company will keep supporting new film talent and offer various possibilities to aspiring screenwriters, directors and actors. The contests will be announced in October and concentrate on selecting projects of short films as well as commercials and assisting the authors on various stages of production and distribution. 'The three support programs, all of which will be announced before the end of the year, will cover film criticism, filming standards and animation fields' noted Kharebava. All support projects are to be handled by newly announced GeorgianFilm.com project, a non-commercial initiative aimed to boost Georgian film industry and create film friendly climate in Georgia and other emerging markets. |
