GFM Studio plans to participate in upcoming Asian Film Market 2008 and its Pusan Promotion Plan in Busan, Korea.

Every year Asian Film Market creates a business-friendlier environment by improving the facilities of the Sales Office and Market Screenings, while at the same time carving out a platform to produce the maximum in marketing opportunities for participants.

The event is becoming one of the major film events in Asian, attracting over 1100 film professionals and 400 film companies worldwide.

GFM Studio will be exploring the possibilities of introducing more titles produced in Asian countries to Georgian theaters, television and home entertainment, at the same time discussing future cooperation and distribution of Georgian film industry to Asian countries.

We are happy to mention that this year Asia's largest project market, within the scope of Pusan Promotion Plan, has officially selected, among 30 short-listed projects, a Georgian project of very talented young director Rusudan Chkonia.  Her 2001 feature-length documentary Children Without a Name has won various awards worldwide.
