GFM Studio's 60-Second Screenplay Contest has come to an end.

The Jury, headed by Dr. Ketevan Janelidze (film critic, professor at Shota Rustaveli Film and Theater University), included Manana Anasashvili (film director, professor at Shota Rustaveli Film and Theater University and University of Michigan), David Gujabidze (cinematographer, director), Temur Palavandishvili (director, professor at Shota Rustaveli Film and Theater University), Rusudan Chkonia (director, screenwriter).

The three winning screenplays are:

1. Ecce Homo by Shota Balarjishvili
2. The Victim of Technical Progress by Gia Alavidze
3. Loyal Junkies by Zaza Merabishvili

According to GFM Studio's producer Noshre Chkhaidze, the studio will develop and produce the thre three winning screenplays in 2009 as well as aide with presentation to various festivals and film markets.
