GFM Studio has just finished another interesting project—for Ilia State University we have authored audio versions of Georgian textbook Introduction to Modern Thought, a course for undergraduate students.

The audio books cover well known works of the world's influential thinkers like Adam Smith, Alfred Russel Wallace, Bronisław Malinowski, Charles Darwin, David Ricardo, Dimitri Uznadze, Ilia Chavchavadze, Jean-Baptiste Lamarck, Jean-Jacques Rousseau, John Dewey, John Locke, Karl Marx and Friedrich Engles, Konrad Lorenz, Marc Bloch, Niccolo Machiavelli, Paul of Tarsus, Plato, Sigmund Freud, Stephen Hawking and Thomas Hobbes.

Read by professional actors, the audio books are now online on university's Library site and are free to download by anyone. The audio books can then be transferred to mp3 players like iPod or to cellphones with mpr3 support.

This comes amidst increased demand on audio versions of education resources around the world, making it more convenient many students as well as people with visual impairments.

The site also includes electronic versions of the works.

Feel free to browse and download the works from the i-Library section of the library site or directly from the file repository.
